Applying to college? Looking for that perfect job? For many people, the sheer thought of writing about themselves, or talking to a room full of people can be quite overwhelming. It’s normal, it’s fair, and it makes you human!

I believe that finding the right words is an adventure, and I love having the opportunity to take that journey with my clients. We each have our own writing and presentation styles, and I know first-hand how difficult it can be to craft a story that accurately reflects both who you are, and how you communicate to others. Don’t worry; I’ve got you covered :)

  • Help me help you! What are your desired outcomes? Any deadlines I should know about? The more details you can provide in your inquiry form, the better. You can expect a reply within 24 hours.

  • Once I have reviewed your form, we will schedule a 1-1 consult to align on objectives.

  • Following our consultation, I will send an email capturing notes from our meeting, agreed upon services, timelines and milestones, and a contract to lock in the partnership.

  • Upon receipt of your deposit, I’ll begin working on your project(s), scheduling touch-base calls as necessary.

  • Upon final transfer of the product(s), you can expect a close-out call or email, as well as a request for your outstanding balance. And that’s a wrap, (as we wait for that admissions letter or job offer call)!

About Me

Hi, I’m Meera. I’m a graduate of Yale University and I have an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia. My past employers include the Yale Club of NYC, Ogilvy & Mather, Clorox, Splunk, Okera, and NightDragon.

I have nearly two decades of experience with editing resumes and cover letters and I’ve been a Yale alumni interviewer for ~20 years. I’ve also helped clients prep for public speaking engagements in both academic and corporate environments. My work in multiple sectors – across healthcare, consumer goods, and technology – has helped me hone the skill of tailoring messages and presentations to maximally resonate with specific audiences. My philosophical approach to this work is to not only help you achieve your short-term goals, but also to help you build skills along the way so that you won’t need my help in the future :)

  • Have a personal story to tell but don’t know where to start? Let’s talk through some tips and tricks to help get you started, review early drafts together, and then collaborate on a final product.

  • How do you write about yourself in a way that makes you hireable but doesn’t make you sound arrogant?

  • You got the interview – congrats! I’ll run you through mock interviews and we can also schedule more focused Q&A in targeted sessions to help strengthen your skills in weaker areas.

  • Looking to convey something in the form of slides or a rehearsed speech? I can help you build the foundational blocks of your presentation, help you craft a resonant narrative, and then help you practice your public speaking skills.

  • Navigating these kinds of processes can be challenging and full of obstacles and it’s helpful to have a cheerleader rooting for you. I’m here for you on all fronts!
